The
Learner
Comes
First!
We
believe
courses
should
be
designed
for
the
learner.
That’s
why
we
ask
for
objectives—statements
of
what
the
learner
is
able
to
do.
We
vary
courses
from
entertaining
to
serious,
depending
on
the
audience.
We
provide
remedial
resources
for
learners
who
need
them.
Because
the
learner
is
so
important,
we
ask
our
customers
for
work
samples
from
their
own
company
to
help
the
learner
relate
to
the
new
information.

Learner Needs Determine
Delivery Technology
We
do
not
believe
that
technology
determines
course
delivery—we
believe
the
opposite.
We
help
our
customers
determine
what
the
best
delivery
method(s)
are
and
then
design
the
courses
for
their
best
delivery.
This
is
called
a
blended
training
approach,
which
means
part
of
a
course
may
be
delivered
through
the
Web
and
another
part
facilitated
by
us
or
a
customer
in
a
classroom.
We
use
a
systematic
approach
with
periodic
customer
checks
and
sign-offs
to
ensure
the
methodology
is
working.

-
Results
Can
Be
Measured
We
think
training
is
important—that
it
must
make
a
difference.
We
ask
what
our
customers’
expectations
are
and
then
invoke
ways
to
measure
the
differences
before
and
after
the
training.
We
also
help
customers
develop
job
aids
and
other
knowledge
management
tools
to
gain
performance.

-
Customer
Satisfaction
Is
Paramount
Quality
is
important
to
us
and
to
our
customers.
We
want
our
customers
to
be
happy
with
what
they
provide
for
their
employees
and
their
customers.
We
work
within
each
customer’s
budget
and
help
set
realistic
outcomes
for
the
customer
based
on
its
needs
and
desires.
We
ask
each
customer
for
a
focal
point
of
contact
to
coordinate
our
efforts
within
its
business.

-
Learning
Experientially
Improves
Student
Retention
Our
training
involves
student
interaction
and
problem
solving.
We
are
believers
in
the
philosophy
of:
Tell
them,
Show
them,
Let
them,
Test
them.
This
approach
has
rich
rewards
in
students
being
able
to
apply
new
knowledge
when
they
return
to
their
job.
The
learning
process
involves
the
whole
brain
so
students
remember
more
for
a
longer
time.
